So far, 2009 was not an exceptional year when it comes down to exceptional records. Up til now, I only was completely overwhelmed by a handful of records. One of them is this third release by HeatdeatH on Conspiracy Records.HeatdeatH is a duo consisting of Andrew Border and Tim Glenn. Together with Mark Erickson they form the indie/post/lo-fi/alternative rock band Fog. HeatdeatH's third release is anything but rock music.
This piece of musical madness brings you straight to hell via a dark, depressive, claustrophobic and nihilistic soundtrack that seems to be played by robots instead of human beings. It's really hard to believe that this type of doom-noise electronic schizophrenic sonic assault can be the result of someone who has emotions inside him. Or it has to be doctor death himself, helping yet another person to commit suicide.
